Hello, Up There!

A diver aboard the Spirit of Solomons waving hello to me through the water. The world looks especially beautiful when you are looking through such clear water!

During a Safety Stop

Yes! A perfect bubble ring!! This is what I love to do during a safety stop. It’s especially nice when the water is so clear that you can see the boat through the water.

A Thrill Ride

After the exciting dives in Galapagos, we ventured out to the Northeast Andes in Ecuador. Sitting in the rooftop of a train and going through a tunnel… It is so risky and scary. You can easily have your head chopped off if you don’t duck down. You will never see this in the States…

So Curious

A spotted hawkfish (Cirrhitichthys aprinus) in Galapagos peeks out from his black coral home. You see these guys looking curiously at you when you dive in the tropical waters of the Indo-Pacific region.

Everything's Frozen!

Posing next to a pile of bodies? No, this is what happened to our drysuits when we took them off after diving at Silfra in ?Iceland. The dive was amazing and relaxing, but getting to and from the dive site was quite a challenge. The wind was howling and nearly blew some of the smaller divers off the trail. By the time we got back to the vans and took the suits off, they were frozen stiff. It looked like there were invisible divers in the suits!
