Spring 2022 Webinar Series
We are excited to announce our spring webinar series presented by our in-house biologist, Instructor Haruka Ito, and our fish expert, Instructor Andy Rios. Join us to learn about some of the marine inhabitants, discuss various factors that could make a marine environment thrive or threatened, and find out how you can participate in conservation efforts!
We are incredibly lucky to have the Channel Islands National Marine Sanctuary in our backyard - home to more than 1000 species of marine animals and algae. The Channel Islands are uniquely located at the convergence of multiple oceanic currents, bringing nutrients and cold water that helps so many species flourish. That’s why there’s such incredible biodiversity, and the islands have been dubbed the “Galapagos of California.” Are you excited to learn what makes our coastal waters and its inhabitants so phenomenal?
