Introduction to Underwater Photography Seminar

Taking pictures underwater is somewhat similar to taking pictures on land; however, underwater photography has its distinct differences. For example, when taking photos underwater, you always need to consider the three aspects of light: reflection, refraction, and absorption. Therefore, knowing how to use different lighting will enhance the quality of your pictures.

This seminar will examine the important functions of your camera, the most appropriate settings to use for the pictures you plan on taking, and basic underwater photography concepts. Additionally, it will discuss the use of proper casings to prevent your camera from flooding during your dive. Feel free to bring your camera to class for extra practice!
